About

Sarah has been practising yoga for nearly twenty years and teaching Vinyasa Flow, Hatha Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra meditation  for over seven years.

Following a career in the arts sector, Sarah took a sabbatical to travel to places where wealth is less about a bank balance and more about human connection. It was a period of expanding perspectives and establishing new values. Once back on British soil, the idea was to weave tenets of this eastern philosophical approach into modern western existence, and she undertook her first yoga teaching training in London in 2017.

Since then, Sarah has been sharing these ancient teachings in studios, schools, gyms, living rooms and offices, including being the Resident Yoga Teacher at Lucknam Park Hotel & Spa for four years. She has also had her writing on the vast subject of yoga published in lifestyle magazines. â€‹

In 2020 Sarah put down roots and founded SCYSTUDIO in Corsham; offering a space for clients to discover practical techniques for nervous system regulation, movement that is freeing and empowering, and a sense of community in an increasingly online culture.

As an advocate for personalised approaches to health and wellbeing, Sarah draws on her wealth of knowledge and expertise to ensure that each individual is being met where they're at. The intention is to facilitate a welcoming, playful and continually evolving shared practice. This is shaped by regular professional development courses - most recently with Dr Richard Miller for iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation training - and a passion for understanding more about how effective (and content) we can be when we slow down.

Outside of yoga, Sarah is a fan of HIIT, strength training, dancing and qi gong, and races occasionally in a 10K.
